I walked one mile, exactly, to honor sigpros' dad, and walked another mile, exactly, to honor Marcus' grandfather. Longest sustained post-op walk thus far. Of course, this precision-walking meant I had to cut across the neighbor's lawn at the end... Cheers to dads and grandfathers!

Took my son out to the range today. Prior to today, the furthest he had shot was 100 yards. Today, he shot his 7RM and my 6 CDMR out to basically 500 yards (480 yards ranged).

Yesterday was SOP (10K steps, 5 miles, and 3K calories burned). Why do I not weigh 165 lbs?...

This morning, I found I had a ballistic rangefinder, a ballistic Kestrel, a ballistic app on my phone, and a ballistic program opened on my MacBook, all on my lap at the same time. In order to not go ballistic, I just completed my ceremonial 1.25 mile daily walk.

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. Going to hit it hard this afternoon trying to get stuff packed up for scout camp. But I did get my boy entered in his first tag drawing this morning, sure hope he draws.

Completed a 20.1 mile round-trip sheep scouting trip yesterday. Almost 6,200 ft total elevation gain and loss. Took almost 15 hours to complete. Man was I whooped last night when I crawled in bed!!!

I did find 3 rams on the peak I wanted to check out. The biggest was 3/4 curl, but I think I'll keep looking.
