Yeah, better than my normal pace...To me that's a heck of a pace in in great conditions. Lol
LOL- thanks guys. I guess not bad for a retired powerlifter either. It was just that the blinding sleet and ice made things difficult. To me that's a heck of a pace in in great conditions. Lol
I hope you do get your first elk. I’m 0/8 and swear I’m never going again. But then I’m usually planning my next trip. I’ve got to find a core workout myself. I’m going to need it for my canoe race.LOL- thanks guys. I guess not bad for a retired powerlifter either. It was just that the blinding sleet and ice made things difficult.
I'm currently training for my third go-around at the toughest 1/2 marathon in the country this May. I run 3 days (varying workouts) and lift 3-4 days. Currently doing a self-inflicted AB challenge that I started first of this year. Things are going well. I set these little goals in an attempt to prepare myself for my western excursions. Hopefully I get my first elk this year.
Good luck to both of you on getting your first elk. Once you get the first one they come easier and easier.I hope you do get your first elk. I’m 0/8 and swear I’m never going again.
