I told you once you crossed that distance threshold there was no going back to 2-3 milers!
However, I'd suggest perhaps doing a speed day for 2-3 miles at 9:30 and then a longer distance at 10 min mi.

Had to break out my heat gear though not as warmas my 6.5 mile run in florida lol

Running with a group of guys... I think they are part antelope and will soon kill me or make me stronger!
Wednesday Night: 9.25 mi @ 1:20 (Pace of 8:39) New best for me at this type of distance. Could have been better but got a blister at mile 6 and another at mile 8.
New shoes, I thought they were broke in after 15-20 easy miles in doors. I guess they are now. Now for the feet to heal.

I'm inching my way into longer distances. The longest I've done was the 10k I ran a few weekends ago but I've been getting my normal run up to about 4 miles. I want to keep that my minimum and get to 6+ on my longer weekend runs. Just been busy on the weekends the last few. I think I need to have the girlfriend drop me off 10 miles from the house so I'm forced to run home haha

I just learned today that one of my employees ran a 4:17 mile this morning! That is ridiculous! I will say though he qualified for the olympics a few years ago. I'm gonna look silly working out with him in the morning!

nice day almost 70. So did my run got a pretty good time but my last mile time was a little slow. The last quarter mile of running was up a good size hill(for a flat lander lol).

Started a new thing with the family were on these nice days this winter an spring we go for a walk so went for an hour walk with the family after my run.

As far as progress weight wise looking like i only added 2-3 pounds well on vacay. Heres a current picture from the pool in Florida. Can definitely see the transfermation.

I came up with a new workout last night. Before each round(beer and a shot) you had to do 5 man makers. worked pretty well and the wife had a good laugh. After 5 rounds you are good to go.
