12 mile run @ 1:49 9:05 pace
The other "runners" told me that I should be in the Clydesdale Class. I said that's ok, I could snap the entire group like the twigs they are! We had a good laugh over it.
I was very pleased with this run... especially for a clydesdale.

Really buckled down on food this week and it paid off. Lost 4 lbs and weighed in 264.4. Getting closer to 260

I hope that's a reason and not an excuse haha
Id say its both lol. Depending on how you want to look at it and take it. Was your body and legs fatigued from skiing for a few days id say more then likely. Now comes how you looking at it did you try and push throw best you could if yes then its a reason if not then maybe it was an excuse. Not trying to tell you either way only you can really answer that. Either way though getting out and running instead of sitting on the couch is the way to go

Monday

Went for my run at 930pm and it was still 46-48 degrees out side. Was nice to run in shorts and a long sleeve t shirt. I think pushing through the snow and the cold temps this winter helped. I think it built up my leg strength and lung efficiency. And not having all the extra clothing on helped.

I set a new PR time

Definitely trying to get back in top shape for this next season. Usually, try to run at least a mile every day if not more. I also have a set warm-up I do every day which is 3 sets of 20 dips and 4 sets of 10 pullups (alternating grips). That helps keep the upper body conditioned. I like to mostly focus on my legs and core because I use them for the majority of my hunting. I'm definitely going to up my cardio more as the season approaches but will definitely take some days off to do some scouting!

Work has been brutal lately. Shorter workout time available, but I keep after it by breaking down days just to keep progressing.
Tuesday: EZ curls - worked up to 115 x 5, 135 x 5 x 2
I don't know why they're called EZ, I was busting arse! :p
