How do you like the Altras? used them in your past? I use low drop, but not 0 drop yet... still debating if drop matters helps much, also training vs racing?

thanks for any insight!

I myself will now never wear anything but Altra’s. Absolutely love them. I run about 60% road 40% trail and they're great for both. My Lone Peak 4s had 300+ on them and I never had a single complaint just figured they may be wearing out some so I replaced them before I started having pains.

Put 6.5 miles on the Timp’s today and have a tad bit of IT band soreness but I expected the difference in cushioning to show up somewhere in the first few runs.

I've taken the week off from running/lifting to catch up on chores. Lots of firewood, mulch shoveling, grass mowing, etc..
Hoping to wrap everything up today/tomorrow. Looking to get a short run in tomorrow to get started again.

But you are working muscles most dont normally use right there. I find out of position welding and working on my truck to make me hurt for a few days lol.

Ahhhh the joys of homeownership haha. Weather last year prevented me from getting any staining done around the house so now I have a house, garage and 2 decks to do this year..and Im building an addition on my garage. Staining is almost done besides decks...still waiting on concrete work for the garage to start. Home = money pit haha

I actually have 2 shoes on today. first time since march 19th. hopefully the air cast on my ankle is a thing of the past. I got the self tapping hex head screw removed on Tuesday.

typically this time of year, the 3000 vert bike rides have started, not this year.

Focused on walking this week to give me a switch up this week over the bike. Had a work week steps challenge with 8 family members on my Fitbit. I won with 106k steps from monday to friday.

Whats the groups thoughts on sleeves for the knees on leg day? I'm thinking to start using them as more of a precautionary thing.
I am all about safety while trying to stay healthy. I used to use in knee wraps along with wrist wraps but only on my heavy sets along with a lifting belt
