After a warmup job, I ran 0.20 miles at a 6:45 min/mile pace with a slower 0.20 mile recovery in between each Six Times followed by a cooldown job. Total mileage was 6.2 miles.
Nice i wish i could run outside storming and converting to snow tonight. So elliptical for me tonight

Couldn't get the hang clean figured out. Will have to work on it. Switched the program up a little for some change.

Sigpro- great job on mixing it up. Hang clean can be tough to get a handle on. I always thought Olympic style lifting was better tough to young people before developing slower switch muscles and mindset on moving "iron".


Marcus, great job on the calorie intake. This is where it's at. Make the lifestyle switch. Researching low calorie foods and how and when to eat is important. My neighbor dropped 100+ lbs and eats a fairly well, or should I say well. But it's all in the types of foods he consumes.

Cold windy run

Did a 3.13 but some how my app messed up my split times on my last 1.13 miles

Then i did a slower cooldown mile

Im running much slower then i used to still but 8 dont think the weight gain and cokd weather are helping me out much

Couldnt fit in a workout. Had work then had to travel after work. Just getting home around 11:15pm tonight and work again in the morning

Calories suffered a bit today hit 2100

Had a nice breakfast of veggies and egg to fill me up good for work and packed my lunch. But with the travel stopped for subway and got one of the new wraps thinking it be better on calories then the bread. Nope was way more then i thought so that and the ice tea what hurt my count today. Learned my lesson stick with my usual when i go to subway.

Hang clean is probably my favorite lift. After the initial pull concentrate on fast elbows. Getting your elbows through and the backs of your arms parallel to ground and catch the weight on your chest. It might take some time to get the flexibility.

10 mile mountain bike ride for me last night. Felt good on the knee, but I need to build my cardio base back up. Shooting for at least 1000 miles on the mountain bikes this year. I am sitting at 43 miles for the year, so I've got some work to do.

60 mins on the recumbent bike pikes peak setting got 21.2 miles

Stayed under 1400 calories today

40 and raining on sunday morning, the boys cancelled the sledding for the day. so I did 20 mile bike ride in the rain.

I hand ground a concrete floor Saturday morning - couldn't have dusty in the room as I had poly going on on the other half. I laid tile Saturday afternoon/evening. Sunday afternoon cleaned all the thin set lines and grouted it all. I feel like I just did 2 two-a-day football workouts. Man cave pictures coming soon...

Anyone ever have ankle/heel issues???
Just in the last few months both my ankles/heels have been just sore as heck by the end of the day. Tried different boots, insoles, the better the boot, and insole the better I feel at the end of the day, but there both still sore. We did around a 5 mile hike Saturday, I could barely stand afterwards, and that's not really that far. I have 4 different kinds of insoles, multiple kinds of boots, and shoes. I'm just starting to think I might need to go get them looked at.
