The Fjallraven items arrived yesterday. I must admit other than the review on a pair of theirs pants by Reekers I never heard of them. The pants I won are very nice with lots of stretch and very light weight. Wore them around the house last night. Great for early season hiking I bet. To be honest I can see me buying another pair of these. The jacket also seemed like great quality but in my eyes too nice for a hunting jacket. Lastly there was a 35 liter day pack. All I did was open it up and try it on but it seemed very nice. Not a over built pack like a Mystery Ranch but perfect for day hikes. Lots of adjustments for a small pack. Think I will use it for now as my lunch time get in shape walks.

Ok - my camp chef rainer combo came last week and my son and I went on a bear hunt so of course we took it along to break it in. It is nice and small - perfect for up to 4 people and is light and easy to use. Anyway - cooked up some Steak and chicken on the grill side while making pasta on the burner side - it was awesome -

I can see me packing this in on the Llamas just so I can do some grilling in the high country. Thanks again - it will be used often.

I picked up the new 257 weatherby magnum. It's a beauty! I can't believe I won something. I have already picked up some dies and have brass on the way. Thanks Eastmans crew.

This am!!! Pretty late for this. been snowing since 6:00am, just too warm for it to really stick. The Mtns are really getting a good dose of spring snow.

The pots reminded me of my living room which is filled with tomatoes and flowers that we planted last week foolishly thinking that with the nice weather there wouldn't be another freeze.

My wife has quite a few tomatoes to plant in the pots, but it's really just too early, soooo they are in our sunroom for now.
