The Tax Day Giveaway!

Thank you, Eastman's! Thank you, Yeti! Boy, was I shocked to get that email. Feeling a little embarrassed, too, since I'm not the hardcore backcountry hunter we all talk about here. On the other hand, I have a family of four (soon to be five) hunters who will definitely find ways to put it to use.

If I recieved a new Weatherby Inc. vanguard rifle, this years rifle season would be complete. Our Montana hunts are most successful with top of the line rifles.

I would really enjoy the Bowtech setup. I have four boys who I enjoy hunting with. Bow hunting would take our experience to a whole new level. To be able to work with them and call a big bull elk into range would be the experience of a lifetime.

I've been laughing about those.
Based on the fact most of these posts have less than 5 total posts, they probably were sent the link from a buddy on here and just entered their two posts to become eligible.

One thing I am most excited about is the bow tech experience. I have been hunting Washington state for about 15 years now. I could really use a new bow. I recently purchased a bow from cabelas and it was a bow tech but I noticed the cam bent on me so I took it back and exchanged it for another once again the cam was bent and it made me miss a really nice deer. I then took it back and had to settle with a bow that I dis like. If I won a new bow I would be honored and blessed. Thanks for this giveaway!

I know that after only joining little over a month ago, I felt guilty for entering. The long time posters deserved winning more than anyone.
At least I have a good understanding of when the contest stops. I will promise that I'm not a one time poster only to disappear. I may not have alot of information to contribute about hunting western states, but am looking forward to obtaining valuable information. But hey, if anyone wants to know how to kill a giant 110" NC whitetail, I'm the man!:(

I think the contest was more of a new member drive than anything. I think it worked pretty good- Just hope some of the new people stick around and become good members. I'm guessing at least the winners will stick around.

New membership is only part of why we do these things. A few of the winners have actually been long time members but just didn't post much. All in all it is good for morale and discussion and honestly great odds for really nice gear for the members.

I've been a member of the Forum for a long time and really appreciate being able to help others get information and advice, as well as receiving the same myself. I have actually been able to hunt several times with a couple of folks I met here and helped them have a great time here in SW Colorado.
