Nice bull... He would fill the freezer just fine. What basic area were you in? Not looking for your honey hole just a basic region ie southern Colorado or whatever.

These bulls are in South Eastern Alberta Canada. Not far from Medicine Hat.

Nice video, The question is will he be there when you need him to be there?
Yea that is a good question and I bet I could find him again before the start of archery as I have watched return for 3 summers now. But the real question is will I be there when it is time..

I have a child due this year on August 28th so this bull is one I hope to see return next summer just like he has for the past 3. Late August and Sept I will be busy with the new member of the family as well as taking care of the rest of the lot and it is not fair to schedule a hunt in that time frame this year.

It is the same case for deer and I find it to be true that you will find the deer this year that you hunt/kill next year and as I do not even have a deer tag yet - I might end up hunting 3rd season with a rifle for the first time since 2008. With that said and you will have to trust me as his pic will not hit the net as I learned that lesson the hard way - well til he hits the dirt but my next year's buck (a typical that is easily in the 190 class and could push that golden number for a typical) has been located again :)!!

As is with Co bulls there are so few that get over 3 -4 years old it would be cool to see this guy get in 1 more trip around the sun. The same with the buck and fingers crossed that he will return but right now I am not scouting for 2014 but rather 2015.

It's been a slow scouting season here in CA. I've been trying some new areas and found a few bucks on public land but nothing very big. I wish I had more time and money to scout, it really does help.

Here's a couple of pictures of the buck I posted on July 11 (taken on 7/9). Note how the tines really filled out during the month of July. New pictures were taken on July 31st.

Rain Rain with more rain the past couple of weeks. When it was not raining the clouds seemed to sock in so I saw some of this..

I hope to be able to take a longer hike here soon to see how these 2 finished up. The pics were taken awhile ago so if I can find them it will be interesting to see how they grew.

Great pics everybody! Thanks for sharing. Just went on my first "scouting" trip to Wyo last weekend. Didn't get any good pics to share unfortunately. Hoping I can get in my first hunt next year with the points I have....couldn't wait that long to get out and see the country.
