Great photos! You got my blood pumping. Question for you...roughly what elevation are you at?...+10,000?

My first scouting trip is in 2 weeks. Unfortunately I only had 1 pt and have 2nd rifle in western part of the state. The highest elevation on public land in my area is 8,600. I'm a little concerned it's not high enough to really see much. This is only my 2nd year in CO, and my 2nd DIY, so learning as I go.

The deer are where you find them and even this time of the year can be in the low country.

Here is a group I ran into recently.

Also some elk found a good way to cool off on a hot summer day!

Kupper that one is a good buck. Good luck gettin on him when the season opens. Only a bit more than week left until archery here in Colorado and the past few days the bulls have been starting to bugle every time I am out.

I also ran into a 2 point buck and another group with a great 180 class buck with matching inlines but the camera gods just did not let the pics work out as he was long way away and I was looking into the sun. Anyway here is that 2 point.
