You're most definitely wrong about NRA members. I've been a life (or above) member since 1975. Members are just normal guys/gals who like to shoot, hunt & fish. NRAs leadership has been questionable, but not its members.

I voted in their annual elections of Directors and I hope I started a change. I didn't vote for a single incumbent Director and I didn't vote for anyone recommended by the current leadership. I only voted for members who had been nominated by friends and other members. I also wrote in my name. IMHO they need to start over and get back to the ideals and roots that got them started.

Sure looks that way. I’m not a fan of any organization that has a president/CEO for lifeHe was only recently found guilty but he's been stealing for himself from the membership for years.
