What are some decently priced pants I could use for hunting? I'm looking for a tan or brown color that are medium weight that I can wear from early September into October and November with good layering. Don't really want cotton (water), but also don't want the super thin pants made for hot weather. Hoping for $100 or under if possible.

Would like to try the attack pants, but I don't really want to order a pant and not get them by when I'm actually needing them. I could go over $100 but would like to stay below it if possible. I hear great things about them though

tdcour, I also have heard great things about the attack pants. Not that I know from personal experience but Sneakypete raves about them. You might want to take the chance?? I'm sure he will respond to this post as well.

I have a pair of XXL Sitka 90% in optifade that I may be willing to part with to, just FYI. Nice pants but I switched to the Timberlines that I like a little better. Hard to wear both. Lol.

Take a look at the different tactical pants on the market. I bought some Propper tactical pants in olive, they are nylon/spandex blend with DWR. They cost less than $50 on amazon.

I have 2 pair of Kuiu Attack in Major Brown, a little pricey but I really like them. I wear them all the time, I love that they aren't camo.

My attack pants are camo, but the plain version is the same and I wore them on every hunt the last two years. I don't think you can beat the comfort. One thing is that they are built kind of on the small side, my son has huge legs and he can't wear them. Take a chance if you can turn loose of the money. I couldn't turn loose of the money for a couple years, but then my wife bought me a pair for Valentines day. I'm sure glad she did!

I went to Duluth Trading and ordered some "Flex Fire Hose" work pants in Tan. I work on a ranch and use them - they are really nice. They have enough spandex in them that they stretch and don't bind, but then the other material is what they use to make fire hoses with. They run about $60 and have really cool side pockets and nice deep front pockets. I hunt in Sitka and love the gear, but for work I use these Flex fire hose pants. They may be a bit thin for late season hunting, but they also make a fleece lined pair or you could layer and spray them with a waterproofing agent. Good luck

Their TV commercials are a hoot- I wondered what the product would be like. Thanks for the review.

The timberline pant comes in moss and lead. I really like the waterproof butt and knee pads. The overall accessibility of pockets and good belt loops both make the pants solid. Downside...pricey

I also bought a pair or the fire hose pants. I really like them for work, but I think they would be too noisy for my style hunting.

Like others have said, absolutely cannot go wrong with the Attack pants. Not too far past your budget and definitely worth it. Most versatile pants I have ever experienced. Obviously getting them is key but if you order them now you will have them by fall.

Yall might talk me into some attack pants at this rate. Anyone have a picture of the major brown? They seem pretty dark online.

NVBird'n'Big, we'll said about the KUIU attack pants they're simply the best and I believe they have brown and grey in the solid colors. My only gripe is the don't have a Giants hat in the Camo patterns! Lol
