Not good.

Is it back-burning to the west badly as well? Or is it primarily traveling east?

Warm, dry and windy condition forecast through Friday will keep this fire growing fast over the next couple days. The impact on area 78 and 110 hunt areas honestly isn't too bad yet. As long as they can control the back burn, not too much habitat will be lost in those areas.
The fire is now hitting parts of deer area 76 and elk area 9.

It appears to have burned down the the lower timber line in some areas... guessing they will be able to contain it from crossing the Laramie river so hopefully growth will start to slow down unless we get a shift in wind direction.

Expecting rain Friday night thru Monday. Weather man says around half an inch for that area. If that happens, should be pretty well taken care of.

The fire is south of 230 and burning towards the Laramie River. They have lots of resources on it and more coming today.
Gramm area is most in peril right now.
Problems with folks trying to sneak back in to protect their cabins. Cabin owners need to have defensible space around your cabin and a driveway wide enough for firetrucks trucks to get down, that has been an issue.
230 and 10 are closed and the entire area in the fire perimeter is closed to the public.
Rain is coming but we need it today.
Deer area 76, and a small part of elk 110 and more so in elk area 9 are affected. South part of elk area 9 has taken the hit.
