I'm from eastern Nebraska and have been hunting, fishing, and running my trapline all my life. I'm 27 years old and spend a stupid amount of time in the woods hunting whitetails with a bow. I also enjoy going on a few diy adventures every year pursuing muleys and antelope in Nebraska. I also enjoy waterfowl hunting. Every winter I run about 100-150 traps for various fur bearers that keep me busy outside when hunting seasons have closed. My next big hunt is going to be this spring in idaho for black bear. I'm looking at a few areas, but still in the process of talking to biologist and conservation officers before I lock down one specific place.

Welcome to the forum! That trapping sure hasn't been as profitable the last 2 years. My traps are all gathering dust- just couldn't justify losing money doing it.
Its just the love of the sport for me. I'm not hitting it as hard as I have been in the past, but this year is a good year to learn new sets, target new animals, and learn to be more efficient with time while on the line.
