Hows the hunting this winter

Sweet! I'm a little jealous. I will be working on Super Bowl day, usually we try and make it out to the desert on that day because no one is out there

That fire swallowed 95% of that unit. How that will affect coyote hunting, I am anxious for your report.

Called several stands along the 5b / 015 line with zero results. The fire has literally destroyed this area, 5b is nuked. It Is truly crIminal how thIs fIre was managed. Headed for sand pass country in the morning.

That really sucks! I've heard different stories on the fire damage.

So..... Went out this morning and called in a double. Sun was in my face, it was my third set, when they came in. They held up at 200 yards when I think they saw me moving to get in a better position. I tried squeaking them in but didn't work. The lead dog was facing me so I put it on his neck and squeezed off a round and missed! Damit I was pissed off! I think I shot low but couldn't see the bullet hit to know so instead of opening up I let them run. I hope this will give me another chance at these two. I'm going after that big sucker tomorrow in hopes my luck will turn. I hope to have pics soon instead of nutin!

i have a depredation permit so I can hunt at night Got one dead but need many more. I hate missing and schooling them. I ant proud, I will use a shotgun.

Ya the schooling sucks for sure. I plan on leaving them alone for a few weeks and tring for some redemption. Not sure how long they will remember the lead flying at them but I will try again
