I know this is not a political forum but here is
SOMETHING TO PONDER COME ELECTION DAY
this was written by one much more elequant then I BUT

This makes a lotta sense!
As the election nears think about the contents of this e-mail when you decided who to vote for...
;Love the quote from Plato at the end.
Conundrum ;

Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free. ;(Think
this one over and over?) Makes sense! ; ; ;

The definition of the word Conundrum is something
that is puzzling or confusing. ;

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America : ; ; ;
;

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is
subsidized. ; ; ;

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are
victims. ; ; ;

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the
government. ; ; ;

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting
poorer. ; ; ;

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other
countries only dream about. ; ; ;

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries. ; ; ;

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st
Century. ; ;Makes you wonder who is doing the math. ; ; ;

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current
government and cultural environment: ; ; ;

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. ; ; ;

Funny how that works. And here's another one worth
considering? ; ; ;

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of
money.
;
But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of
money ;! ; ; ;
;
What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second
didn't. ; ; ;

Think about it... and last but not least ;: ; ; ;

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, ;but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens. ;

;
"If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools." Plato

if you agree ,go vote, if you do not stay home.
either way forward this to all your contacts before tuesday.

I HAVE DONE WHAT I CAN DO. THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS NOW!

Drain the swamp! Clinton represents everything that is WRONG with our country. She has everything int he country rigged in her Favor. All but a few news agencies and journalists refuse to publish anything that negatively affects Clinton, while they bash Trump at every possible opportunity. They never shed light on wikileaks revelations, her many lies in regards to emails, Benghazi, Clinton Foundation etc... The people who investigate her are friends of her campaign, or appointees of the president. Her campaign is a multi level assault on the American psyche.. with non-stop propaganda that if you support Trump you are uneducated, deplorable, redneck, racist etc... She labels us as out of control and violent, yet she sends paid agents to Trump rallies to incite violence! It goes on and on, and it makes me sick. It's sickening to watch her and her campaign pander to the inner cities of america and the african american vote... when nothing will ever change for those poor people as long as she is in power. i CAN GO ON AND ON

PLEASE STAND UP WITH ME AND SHOW HER THE DOOR ONCE AND FOR ALL WITH REDNECK DEPLORABLE POWER!!! SCREW HER!

WE ONLY MUST WIN A COUPLE NORMALLY DEMOCRATIC STATES ...MICHIGAN, WISCONSIN, IOWA, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA... WE HUNT, WE FISH, WE SHOOT, WE WORK, WE GO TO CHURCH, WE WATCH OUR JOBS GET SHIPPED OVERSEAS, AND PEOPLE WE LOVE LOSE THEIR HOMES AND LIVES!!!

IT MUST END NOW

I'M IN MICHIGAN I TRULY BELIEVE TRUMP WILL WIN THIS STATE HANDS DOWN... SIGNS EVERYWHERE.. NO CLINTON SIGNS

EVERYONE MUST VOTE!!! PLEASE VOTE TO END THE CORRUPTION

I voted last week! I voted in my first presidential election in 1962 and have not missed one since. Worst campaign I have ever witnessed. I hate Clinton and don't like Trump much better!

Doing my part tomorrow! Like CC said, I can't stand and despise Clinton. Trump is not a whole lot better but he at least will protect the border and do something about all the illegal immigration pouring over the border instead of just throwing his hands up and saying, "amnesty for all". He will also protect the 2nd amendment which is under siege. I do not believe a word she says regarding her stance on guns. I currently have a secret clearance and am contracted with the military, her reckless actions are disgusting. I would be in prison by now yet she gets to run for President? Ridiculous. Trump said it right, time to put America first. Get out and vote fellas!

Hope I did not offend anyone here, just speaking my mind.

In all my years of being qualified to vote in a presidential election this is the first time that I gagged when I marked my ballot before I sent it in.

Neither one is worth a plug nickle and I almost just threw a dart at the ballot to pick my choice. I even though about putting the ballot into the chicken coop and let a chicken decide on who to vote for by where they took a crap on it........but I didn't, I needed a clean ballot and I voted for the lesser of two evils that I saw.

The problem with Trump is that there is no way that he will get done what he says that he will get done, just ask BO on how that works. Even if Trump gets a Republican majority in both the House and Senate he won't be able to force through anything that he wants. At least Clinton would have the rest of the Democrats on her side if she does get in, which could be a good or a bad thing if they have the majority in both Houses.

I'll just be happy when Tuesday gets here and is finished and we can start to deal with who is elected.

It was a no brainer decision for me. I work in the oil and gas field. Everything she stands for will put everything I've worked for, in danger. If she passes the laws about fracking, drilling and what not I'm out of work. I have to completely start over. That doesn't even include the many town in western Colorado that will be effected by the loss of coal jobs.

People just don't get that coal, natural gas and oil keeps the lights on, keep heat in their homes. Get them everywhere at a decent price.
Plus I'm pro life, pro guns and small government.
I didn't hesitate voting for trump.

Agree that neither is worth much. Regardless of who gets elected I do not think either will get much done. The scandals that surround the Clinton family will continue and she will be under investigation throughout her term. He will continue to run his mouth and get himself in trouble.

At the end of the day. The people that work for a living are outnumbered by the people that vote for a living.

Don't sit this one out!!!! we just need a couple flip states to pull this off!! Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio... we just need a couple flips to retire the Clintons and their corrupt cash machine, preserve the 2nd amendment and bring our jobs back from overseas!!! get out and vote!! this one we cannot afford to sit on the sidelines

Not weighing in on who you are voting for, I understand vehement opposition to Clinton. But the 2nd amdt is a total red herring for this election, and all elections. Vote on the real issues that matter to you that can actually be affected - immigration, a welfare state, the direction of the economy. That is what should be important. No one is going to take your guns. Vote for Trump because you like the direction he will take this country, if you think that is what is best for us. Don't vote for someone based on some red herring argument that has been tossed around for decades but has never come to fruition.

They said Obama would take our guns. Last I checked I have only added guns to my collection since 2008. What, exactly, is Hillary going to do to re-write a constitutional amendment and deprive you of your right to own firearms? People fear the drawing of a line, like an assault weapons ban. There already is a line drawn, though - you can't own a rocket launcher. And that is probably for the best right there. So there is some discretion and interpretation involved in the evaluation of an amendment to the constitution. Same with free speech - some speech is restricted, and rightfully so. It does not mean that free speech is under siege.

The second amendment guarantees a right to bear arms, and I will always support that. But I am not going to sit here and tell you that the second amendment means you can have whatever kind of gun you want - an RPG, a tank, a Browning fully automatic .50 cal machine gun. That is not really good for anyone, except our armed forces.

And as a last point, to be entirely cynical - politics is about money (thank you Citizens United). The gun lobby has endless resources, so if push really comes to shove (which it wont) money wins every time.

Vote for whomever you want, that I will never argue with. That is your prerogative and our ability to freely discuss this and vote is what makes America great. But focus on what matters. Your guns will still be here in four or eight years, no matter who wins.

Hillary is actually pro-fracking and said enviros "need to get a life." I work in oil and gas too, I am an attorney and energy analyst in Denver. The Obama admin has done nothing to restrict O&G development. In fact that administration oversaw the biggest jump in natural gas development in our nation's history. Prices right now are what is driving the slump, not regulations and the EPA.

You want to vote for Trump, that is great and you have every right to do so. I am not here to convince you otherwise. But vote on the issues that matter and that will actualyl be affected. You really think she is going to torpedo a huge sector of our economy unilaterally? Not only would she not have the power to do that, it would be political suicide.

Also this is a hunting forum. This should be a place where we can all forget about the shitshow that is this election and talk about fun things.

In Hillarys words WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE that good enough for me GO TRUMP
"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, senator. Now, honestly, I will do my best to answer your questions about this, but the fact is that people were trying in real time to get to the best information. The IC has a process, I understand, going with the other committees to explain how these talking points came out. But you know, to be clear, it is, from my perspective, less important today looking backwards as to why these militants decided they did it than to find them and bring them to justice, and then maybe we’ll figure out what was going on in the meantime."

With all the issues facing our nation, if that quote is what swayed you, then God help us all. Be swayed by something that matters.

Just voted, except I don't think my vote counts because the government already picked who they wanted for president and we the people don't get a say anymore. We just haven't been told a criminal has been elected. :(
