Down another 1.5 pounds... Was a much tougher week to remain motivated. Having too many celebrations! Birthdays, graduations, and Back yard BBQs. The good news is I'm still losing even though I wasn't perfect this week. Hope everyone else is staying focused! Those mountains aren't getting any shorter...

Yes, it definitely is harder this time of year with the weather getting nicer and more activities going on. I will say, knowing that I am a part of this has definitely helped me to stay accountable for doing my workouts and watching what i eat. On another good note, spring bear opened yesterday so time to hit the hills and keep on working.

It has helped me, too.

After nearly two weeks of running, my MCL decided to start giving me problems, of all the things that I though were going to be an issue none of them have surfaced; go figure. Gonna take it easy on the running, do the workouts and ice for a few days hopefully that will get me back on track.

My weigh in is tomorrow... I'm not excited about it. We had my oldest son's conformation party yesterday. Nothing but bad you food everywhere... This was the last official party/graduation for the year that my attendance is required. Time to get back to business... 4 1/2 months until my hunt.

Well I am down 10lbs. Will wait another 2 weeks and see where I am at. Been trying to get 30 minute workouts in after work for 2-3days a week. Shot a nice 3d tournament yesterday and packed the daughter in a back pack the whole shoot so it was a pretty good workout. Keep up the good work guys. Season is just around the corner.

Running is pretty hard on big guys. Sorry about the knee. I was crawling up the steps at home after the first couple times, then took a break and it was better for a while. Hopefully yours gets better.

I'll jump on this exercise train.
Age 31
6ft 2in
Weight 230
Goal 205lbs by August
My weak link is the wife's good cooking and the nurses always having pot lucks at work!
I have already cut the fountain drinks out. Replace with a nalgene bottle of water. Now to do better at portion control and find a workout regiment for me.

Time to get into Sheep Shape boys! Fall is coming fast.

Well its been a little over 5 weeks since i Joined the challenge and figure i would post an update...so far I am down only 9 lbs. from my starting 231. I didn't check my BF% this morning, but i am hoping, and betting, it went down as well. Sure doesn't sound like much of a loss, but i guess it does average a little over 1.5lb per week. hope everyone is seeing progress as well, I know i get frustrated when i work my butt off and don't get the results i think i should be getting. Keep up the good work everyone.

Been on this exercise train for a while, Spring of 2012, I was 6' & 245lbs and 25% body fat, by that fall I was down to 180lbs and still in that 18% BF area. Since then I've been doing Insanity and lifting moderate to heavy sets of weights. I'm back up to 198lbs but have dropped the BF to around 15%. Keep pushing guys it's totally doable!!! Diet and Exercise is the only way it works!!

I agree that running is hard on the knees, especially on the big fellers. I am 6'1 and weigh 185lbs, I start running in April and run through September. I mix in a few 5k's and 10k's to keep me motivated. The rest of the year I use the elliptical and bike, it is much easier on your knees and does the cardio trick. I have been working out and staying in shape since I graduated high school. I believe you must make it a lifestyle. You must keep with it year round and you have to give yourself between 45 and 90 minutes four days per week. Once it becomes routine you get crabby if you can't hit the gym or go for a run. Good luck to everyone and power through!
