What I'm sorry about is people failing to see the value in wildlife other than what its worth monetarily....that's sad.If their was no value, i.e. Hunters stopped paying the bill, those protections wildlife enjoy will end.
Sorry you can't see the point , where wildlife has value, it has protection.
Take away sport hunters in Africa, see how wildlife fairs.
It sure as hell means a lot to me than that...including the wildlife that I cant run a bullet or hook through.
There are lots of tax dollars spent on a variety of habitat, land purchases, habitat enhancements, T&E species management, etc. etc. that are either directly or indirectly done for wildlife that the non-hunting public also pays for.
Hunters do a lot of the lifting, but they aren't the only ones, not by a long shot.
LWCF ring a bell?
