Good luck, looking forward to seeing the results!I'm heading up to my cabin on Saturday and will be there 8 days straight so should be able to post something from me or my sister. Weather looks nice and cool so rut should be in full swing I think. I always see lots of deer the second week of November.

Ya, he was a battler! His 5ths were a little busted up. Cool bull and I'm extremely happy with him!Great trophies!!
Looks like your elk was king of the mountain … and fought to prove it !!
So cool! Raisin' him right! My grandson killed his first deer Saturday. 12 years old and first big game hunt opening morning.
About 75 yards with a .243
This looks like it was a fun hunt!
That sounds like way hotter weather than I am accustomed to. Nice buck!Shot this buck on the second to the last day of my hunt from the ground. 15 yard shot. Went about 100 yards.
When I got him back to the vehicle at 10:00PM it was 81 degrees out still.

Looks like you are going to fill several freezers!Well, the tally for my household so far is...
Wife = muley buck (her first), antelope buck - whitetail and cow elk still to go.
Me = two antelope does, whitetail buck - bull & cow elk and two whitetail does to go.
Todd tends to do that LOL.Looks like you are going to fill several freezers!
Trying, about half of it gets canned.Looks like you are going to fill several freezers!
Nice bull! Our first year of marriage my wife and I killed two bulls and two cows. We were very picky for deer and didn't have antelope tags. I was still teaching and coaching back then and we gave away most of our take.I missed this thread. But my bull from last week is the only animal going into my freezer and come Thanksgiving I'll transport at least half of the meat over to my sisters house for distribution. I used to fill a freezer every year but as I get older I don't eat as much red meat so I usually only shoot a large animal every few years.
I still have some deer meat from 2 years ago.
