I took the boat out to crooked creek last week, and all the bulls I saw were still packing. I did see a couple trucks from Missoula which I am guessing were guys horn hunting but they didn't have any bones in their trucks.

Went out shed hunting with my daughter the other day. We found a few deer sheds. Here are a few of them. It was a fun trip.

This fact is true and I agree, but it is still considered "shedding of horns" by many.
True horns are never shed and are made of compressed hair (keratin) growing on a bony core. The horn sheath of a Pronghorn is a little of both. It is made of keratin growing on a bony core AND it is shed annually.
I am sure most folks already know this, but for those who are new to hunting the speed goat. This service announcement brought to you by Gypsumreaper and Bonecollector.
