I have two 300 Wbys, one doesn't like the barnes, the other does. I am going to try Nosler Partitions this year, I already have them but have not taken the time to shoot them yet.

I've used 180 grn barnes tripple shock for many years in my 300 wby. Pretty hard to beat their performance on impact, not the most accurate bullet out there though.

As several have already said I enjoy shooting period, but I have to say I really enjoy playing around with my M1 30 carbine. It's just a lot of fun, kids have a blast shooting it virtually no recoil.

The early 80s were a great time to be a fur buyer, that's when I first started trapping around 1982. I still cannot believe the prices we got for furs back then compared to now. I bet that job was a blast.
