Great Job Congratulations! How do you like that rifle? I have been thinking about getting one for my daughter.

In a perfect world I would like to see a few Apex predators like wolves and grizzlys. I would like to be able to trap and hunt them, but we are dealing with people today who will not even recognize the difference between genders, there is absolutely zero chance there will ever be common sense...

That to me is what I consider trophy hunting, having an animal on the wall that you can look at and share the memory with family and friends. You summed up what trophy hunting is too me better than I ever could. Thank You!

Whitetail doe in Upper Michigan crop damage permit, I believe it was 1983. I was 11.

After my wife and I got married we planned a deer hunt in Montana, shortly after receiving our license in the mail (mid April) we found out that she was pregnant. By the time hunting season came around she was almost 8 months along. She said she was feeling good and still wanted to go so we...

Happy Easter Everyone!

Last year out of curiosity I tried Weatherby's factory 150 grain partitions out of my 300 wby. I shot a ~200 lb buck at 337 yards, dropped him in his tracks, pretty devastating. I tried the 150s because this particular rifle doesn't like 180s. I had been shooting 165s out of it for years so I...

My last Lab's name was Jack, my boys were 5 and 7 years old when I got him. When thinking of names I told the boys it needed to be something manly, the 5 year old thought for a few seconds and said Jack. Tank is also a good name. Had a britney/lab mix named Tank.

To me trophy hunting means hunting a mature animal. It's not about horn size to me, just looking for older animals.

We also used to use empty milk jugs for water jugs when we would go logging. Every now and then one of my brothers would forget to rinse it out good. That would usually result in cutting the bottom of your shirt off because we never had toilet paper in the truck.

You do realize the Government doesn't have any money, it's our money, they took it from us. And we will be paying for this "stimulus" for the rest of ours and our children's lives.

I seen the area 7-2 tags when I was looking through the data. Was that an option to apply for back in January? If not are they going to sell them all in the leftover drawing? I get really confused when then add a tag after the drawing period, can people people change their applications and...

The antelope unit I am looking at actually increased the number of tags. In general it looks like reductions in Deer and Antelope and increases in Elk tags.

It's elder abuse! I watched a few minutes of his talk and we are in real trouble!

1. Draw odds/points required 2. Public Access 3. Harvest success rates 4. Season Dates 5. Water sources identifiable from satellite maps, springs identified on topos 6. Areas with limited road access 7. Land features such as rim rock and canyons

Not to hijack this thread but I am curious if the area around Casper got pounded with that storm. I am thinking about taking my daughter to hunt antelope near Casper and got concerned when I seen the pictures from the storm.

I've never seen 300 wby in Winchester brass. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist but I didn't think Winchester made any.
