I have used a 340 wby for years, can’t say that I enjoy it on the bench but have never noticed the recoil while hunting. I don’t mind shooting my 300 wby on the bench. When I was much younger I decided I wanted to try the 30-378. I bought one in a Sako it does not have a muzzle break and in my...

You just need to find which scent or bait gets their attention. Switch up your lures and see what happens.

Agreed, but anyone that would sell deer and antelope as beef probably is not too concerned about buying a license in five years. Can’t help but wonder what the real number of animals he poached is.

It’s also one of the most gratifying things when you catch them. Keep at it you’ll figure them out.

My hunting party and I have had similar problems years ago with a land owner in the Southern Bighorns. We weren’t corner crossing, we had permission from one of his neighbors to cross his land to access a large chunk of public land. The gentleman who gave us permission even called him to tell...

Upper Michigan is in the exact same condition as Northern Wisconsin. At least you guys were able to kill a few last year, just scratched the surface but at least it’s something.

Sounds like a gratifying trip, congratulations!

That’s a great buck! Congratulations

My brother lived there n Alaska for quite a while and he said the locals always told him to file off the front sight of his 44 so that it wouldn’t hurt as much when the bear shoved it up his butt. I always thought that was funny.

Another stupid idea.

You are the one that called him a liar!

Really nice deer! You must be spending a lot of time at the taxidermist this year. Congratulations on the deer and the moose!

I have had really good luck on Coyotes with Caven’s Hiawatha Valley bait.

I buy all of my trapping supplies from F&T and have for years, truly a great company IMHO.

I have always been afraid to buy anything but Leopold. I recently purchased a Vortex for my daughter’s gun, it seems okay so far but I plan on upgrading to a leopold in the future.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Nice deer! Those main beams look pretty long.

I really enjoyed my trip to the Frank Church wilderness. We went with Elk Springs Outfitters from McCall. Not sure what there status is as it’s been about 10 years.

Welcome! And if you don’t mind me asking what part of Wisconsin are you from?
