Sounds just stupid that they thought they wouldn’t get caught.

My dad waited until he retired to plan a trip to Wyoming. He and a couple of my brothers were all set to go in October of 1990, he died in August of that year having never hunted the west. That had a big effect on my decision making.

He is risen indeed!

I’ve haven’t done full blown Yoga as I am very Leary of the eastern religion as others have mentioned, however I have used a lot of the techniques incorporated into our workouts over the years. Tremendous improvement of flexibility and core strength. Made it a lot easier to climb into a tree...

That was my experience last year as well. Seemed to be about 50% bucks in the area we hunted but the folks hunting the same area were filling more doe tags then bucks tags. Watched a guy that was set up on a herd with a really nice buck, we were wondering why he wasn’t shooting. When he finally...

Our family of 5 typically eat 7 deer a year. It is very rare that we have any wild game left in the freezer at the end of summer going into the fall. We would probably consume more if we harvested more. Still waiting for that elusive elk to fill the freezer with.

You beat me to it LOL!

The majority of the outfitter web sites that I have visited say that they are booked for the next 2 years. People are willing to spend more money than I am for a guided hunt, simple supply and demand and it appears that the demand is very high.

All three of my kids killed Toms with a 410 when they were little. I was nervous letting them do it initially, but really surprised with the results.

Hasenpfeffer was a big deal on the bugs bunny cartoon growing up! That’s about all I know about cooking rabbit.

This is a horrible tragedy anyway you look at, young family growing up without their dad and husband. Parents losing a son and who knows how many friends and coworkers. For some POS to post negative stuff because they support grizzly protections is the lowest of lows IMHO.

Pretty good increase in number of Elk tags , some good news at least. All of the deer areas that I am familiar with were cut pretty drastically.

Very well said!

I think it would be very hard to enforce.

That looks spectacular!

I agree with what you are saying, all of the elected officials in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan strongly support scientific wolf management. The problem is our voice is so small, the decisions are made by politicians in the Lower Peninsula where there are no wolves. I am sure this is the same...

That one got me😭

That was my impression driving through the unit last year. I hunted the unit years ago and have traveled through it every couple years and last fall was the fewest animals I have seen there.
