I guess I'm learning something here. Why would you clean it and then foul it, even with just one round, before storing it?

Nope … but it could be a real winner.

My daughter just got a Savage that shoots really well.

Working on that … so, yep !

I think you nailed it.

I have Lathrop and Sons boots and insoles because I have very wide and flat feet. They have been great for me!

We surely don't need wolves here in Colorado but I don't think this vote will matter much, other than to speed things up. There are already wolves in the states north of us, as everyone on here knows, so they'll make it down into Colorado anyway.

While stationed in Alaska with the Army we were permitted to wear a Danner warm weather boot, their Fort Lewis boot. I have a very wide foot and they didn't really fit but it was cold and the boots were warm so I wore them. After a while they stretched and adjusted to my foot and fit pretty well.

Happy New Year everyone !!

I keep my Yellow Lab and Golden inside, they sleep at the foot of my bed. I built a dog run next to the house and installed a dog door so they can let themselves in and out. Works very well.

Normally yes if it's a long pack out … it's just not worth it to me.

I got a new Lyman Gen6 Digital Scale for reloading :)

I use a Bog-Pod and shoot sitting and sometimes kneeling. It doesn't seem like I can ever get above all the bushes etc when prone … so I just practice the heck out of sitting and kneeling positions and shoot that way.

Merry Christmas Everyone !!

The gutless method works great, and that things looks hard to sharpen and only really useful for one thing. I like knives that are a little more useful for many things. I think I'll pass on this one.

Sounds like a great rifle!! I hope my daughter's works out alright even though it's much newer.

Thx go_deep !! That's great info … I appreciate it.

Thanks guys !! Greatly appreciated (y)

I'll say: 1) My guess is 175" 2) Doesn't matter, beautiful buck … definite shooter

Oh crap … goop point Jim. I thought I said that … it's a .270
