I know it’s not the same part of Colorado, but it’s been raining here in Woodland Park a lot lately with more in the forecast. Al the plants have greened- up nicely.

Tough day for a new fawn … quite a bit of rain and hail. Mid 40 degrees.

Can anyone jump in here or is it just for the Forum’s super-studs? 😊 I hiked 7 miles today at elevations from 9400 to 10,400. Carried a pack with some water for me and my pups.

I just saw my first mule deer fawn for this year. It was very small and it was still just a little wobbly on its legs.

I got my Deer and Antelope tags in the mail but haven’t received my Elk tag yet.

That’s awesome CC … I’m sure all that practice has paid off big-time !! Remind me not to challenge you to a shooting competition 😳 I shot competitively growing up and while in college but not since then. Plenty of shooting, just not competitively.

I put in for a deer (doe) tag this morning and it worked fine then.

Wow … good luck. Youth hunters have priority in the 2nd draw. If there’s only 5 tags it’s possible youths could take them before you get a chance. if I were you I’d sure press DoW to consider giving you a tag before the 2nd draw.
