I just saw my first mule deer fawn for this year.

Lots of preg does here, but no fawns yet. Did see a really young calf elk last week in NM.

WT have dropped fawns in the East. Seen several hobbling around. Lot of young turkey too. Hope they make it.
I saw 2 more fawns this morning ... here's one of them.

Got a picture of a doe with her fawn at the beginning of my driveway at 12:12 AM the other morning. At 12:15 AM a coyote came by going the same direction. Those first few days are pretty tough for fawns.
