Sources of Revenue for Wyoming Game and Fish

For most of us, I don't think that this plays any factor at all. If it was we would all by beef or whatever. Get real!

Sources of Revenue for Wyoming Game and Fish

Preference Points are a big driver here in Colorado too. All you have to do is look at the numbers and see why more and more states are doing the PP thing. The surprising thing is that the buyers (US) don't really have much clout with the various states that have the PP program. Here in Colorado...

    NRA Files for Bankruptcy

Too bad the restructuring doesn't dump LaPierre! He has done more to bring the NRA to it's knees than anyone else! I am a Endowment Life member, have been for over 60 years and the NRA has failed miserably in what I joined for.

    Fish finder advice

Most of the new fishfinders have a ton of stuff on them you probably will never use. I do like Humminbird for freshwater finders.

    Duck dog

My Dad owned a duck hunting club in Imperial Valley in California for 50 years. Almost all the dogs were Labs. In all that time I only saw one lab that had a mean streak. If anyone wore a wide brim hat (like a cowboy style) , the dog would try to eat you lunch. The owner got him as a 1 1/2 year...

    Gun Build

I have 2 custom rifles, one in .300 Wby and the other .220 Ackley Improved Swift. The .300 is and older custom build that was given to me. It used a commercial Mauser action. When I got it the barrel was worn out so I rebarreled it and changed the stock. It does shoot sub moa groups out to 500...

    Alaska Fishing Trip

When I was there in 2019, we went mid May to Mid June. Wanted to avoid the summer crowds (started coming in as we left), not get totally eaten up by the bugs and catch the first king runs. I also wanted to be there for a big minus tide for clamming. We accomplished everything. Sleeping bear was...

    Duck dog

My last 2 Labs have been partially indoor dogs. Our home here in Colorado is set up for a dog. I have a bed in the mud room the the dog stays in at night. We use a special vacume cleaner for pets that does a wonderful job picking up hair. I also have an outside enclosure (20x20) with lots of...

    Guys in the market?

When I retired 21 years ago, I changed my whole investment program. I had cancer and was told I had a 10% chance to live 5 years. I took all my cash assets and put them in CD's and Muny Bonds. If there was a problem with stocks and the market became problematic and i lost any of my nest egg, I...

    Duck dog

I have been training my own dogs for 40 years. It is really not that difficult, but you have to have the time to do it. It is really better to train your own dog, as the dog has only one real "boss" and that is you. If you have the dog professionally trained, both you and the dog have to be...
