    Wyoming mule deer hunts

Unit 89 has the Rattlesnakes in it on the south end. Lots of private, but good deer area. If you have the points (I have not looked), it would be worth a look.

    Range Finding Binos?

I have a Swaro combo like I mentioned earlier. The ones I have (I've had them about 15 years or so) are not made anymore. When I bought mine they were about $1,000. They were on sale at Cabela's for $800 with free shipping. I also had a card that said if I spent over $ 750 or more I would save...

    $1400 in my Bank Account!

Our Rifle/Pistol Club is having a gun show next month and I have a table. My son is changing the direction of his gun collection and is selling some. I went thru my reloading stuff and have decided to sell a bunch of powder I don't use (all new & sealed) that was my dad's, letting go of 15...

    $1400 in my Bank Account!

We had to replace our old pellet stove last October, new one was almost $4,000. We took savings to pay for it. We still have the $1,200 we got awhile back, that along with this $2,800 will go into our savings to replace what we took out for the new stove.

    Why the animosity?

Here in Colorado they don't give the RFW tags away, the ranches have to buy them just like everyone else. They just don't have to draw for them.

The 1 Thing You Learned- Rifles

In my other life when I was working......on any piece of equipment that had to be lab calibrated and had adjustment knobs, we sealed them with a white chalky seal. You could immediately see if it had been tampered with as the seal would be broken. I would put a dolop of silicon seal on the...

Do me a favor and keep your drivel to yourself. Start your own post so we all know and can stay off of it.

How many of you will get the Covid shot?

Our county gives everyone a weekly update on the vaccinations. Our county has around 25,000 residents and over 12,000 have been vaccinated so far. Today there is an all day driveup clinic and they will vaccinate any adult for free until the supply runs out.

    Ranching for Wildlife tags

Remember one thing....the ranch isn't allocating the tags for RFW because they want you to hunt on their private ranch. It is because they have to in order to get their own tags for their clients and/or their outfitter.

    Ranching for Wildlife tags

I saw Colorado's RFW mentioned in another post and it brought to mind my experience hunting RFW ranches. The RFW program (for those who don't know) is a program that private ranches can get tags for most big game species. They can dispose of them as they see fit. In return for this privilege...
