Congrats on the tag, while the Henry's are not what they were a couple of years ago they still provide a fantastic hunt. If you need any information on them let me know. It's been a long time since I hunted deer down there but I may be able to help out.

I am going to substitute a warthog for a javelina and perhaps a brush buck for the coues. The nice thing about South Africa at this time of year is that they are going into their Fall weather pattern when we are going into summer. So it should be quite nice down there.

I got out at 7am and was able to run 40 rounds through 2 rifles off of shooting sticks before the wind hit at 8:30. It was interesting in that I shot my .340 Weatherby better than I did my .25-06, but since I am taking my .340 it doesn't matter. Hopefully the winds will calm down some this...

All my hunts here in the US have been on public land and they all rate right up there. It didn't matter if I was sleeping in a tent or a nice bed inside of a camper. But two of my better ones were a muzzle loader hunt in Utah where I got the buck in my avatar and then perhaps my coues deer...
