Go get em' Jim! Az. Is heating up, Africa may be the same...No Javelinas or Coues there though. šŸ’„
I am going to substitute a warthog for a javelina and perhaps a brush buck for the coues.

The nice thing about South Africa at this time of year is that they are going into their Fall weather pattern when we are going into summer. So it should be quite nice down there.

Finally got moved into the house and now we are starting the garage.
Cut a ton of trees (popular) and getting ready to saw them on my portable sawmill (not here yet) for shiplap to cover the garage walls......
Missed the entire turkey season and most of the good bowfishing this year. Hopefully we are up and running 100% by September. Lots to do still and its been a busy spring for sure.

Couple pictures.

Glad to be out of the camper. Been in that thing since Sept 26th of 2020....

This is the last house we will ever build. Next time I move its straight down 6'.......lord have mercy what a PITA...

Warthog is on my bucket list, but then is everything else...Including a good woman! ;)

"End of school year close support specialist"

Seems like this month we've had some kind of concert or ball game every night; and last night, school spring carnival.

Just this week, we had kindergarten round up for our youngest, and also helped my oldest move out of the dorms @ IA State. That's got to be a select club that can claim those two events in the same week in their household! lol

I did get the tractor converted and mowed the lawn. šŸ¤

Trying to get the shop done, the house permit in and keep the bees from starving (weathers been tough for fruit trees and bees) and make sure I make it to the day job enough to not get fired :). Other than that I've actually had a great spring hunting year with the little bit of time I've got out!
I was successful on a gator and a hog while in FL visiting with my wives family. A first for me, so kind of cool.
Also had a very productive OR spring season and was successful on 3 toms; all in very different habitat/ terrain.
I was able to add a spring bear to the mix a couple days ago, so now I need to keep busy working until August, so I'm ready for fall hunts!
We've had a great mix of grand kid time also. Oldest started t-ball, so here we go again :).

Looks like it turned out pretty darn awesome man! Great job on building youā€™re home. We built our home 1 1/2 year ago. And I agree with youā€¦.Iā€™m done! Iā€™m not building my own house again. The end game and rewards are great, but man it took a lot outta me! Working 12 hours a day at my job and then working on my house til 2 in the morningā€¦..I was wrecked. Great rewards do come at a price!!! Congrats again
