Wind blowing about 20 with gust to 30 (according to my weather station)! Forecast is wind thru Wednesday, so will probably be Thursday before I can get back to the range. Weather Gods are against me for sure...LOL!

I'm crossing my fingers for Wednesday also.....one way or another.
But then if it is windy it would be like actually shooting under hunting conditions...

I haven't even been keeping up with the weather, its been so crazy here that it is really hard to plan anything.

It blew so hard last night I am surprised that my roof is still on.
My neighbor spent all morning raking up limbs off of his willow tree that covered his yard.
The wind is starting to pick up again. Great kite weather

Had my truck all packed with targets and stands, all I needed to do was to throw in my rifles.
Looked outside and it looks like 20-30mph winds this morning.
Well, perhaps I can get out on Friday.

Got up this morning to 40 mph winds, my chimes were going crazy.
Friday is the day. My truck is packed with all I need except for my rifles. I'm going to put the muzzle brake onto my .340 Weatherby and run 20 or so rounds through it. While it is cooling off I'll be taking my .25-06 to get the cobwebs out of the barrel.

It's calm enough right now to go shooting but the sun would be in my eyes.

I got out at 7am and was able to run 40 rounds through 2 rifles off of shooting sticks before the wind hit at 8:30.
It was interesting in that I shot my .340 Weatherby better than I did my .25-06, but since I am taking my .340 it doesn't matter.
Hopefully the winds will calm down some this afternoon so I can do the cleaning chore outside.
