    I just saw the intro for MTNTOUGH Preseason Prep 2.0. This should be awesome. I'm planning to do the fitness test Friday and will then start PP20 when it rolls out Monday. 16 weeks May through August, and then go hunting September 1. Perfect timing.

    I'm planning to work on strength through the spring, but then I'm gonna shift to more endurance/strength through the summer leading up to September. Unless the folks at MtnTough come out with something even better, I plan to do HP20 again in July and August. That worked great for me last year.

    My son and I are doing weight training 3 days/week (push, pull and legs) with 2 days of MtnTough for core and cardio. Today we were short on time, so we did a 16 minute HIIT workout on the Echo bike followed by some ab work.

    Palo duro canyon aoudad

    I grew up 25 miles south of there. The canyon is rough country. Aoudad like the roughest and steepest areas best. But they also like to hit a wheat field on top. If you can pick a pasture to hunt that is adjacent to a neighboring wheat field, that could be a good spot. They'll be in areas...
