    When in my stand deer hunting this is the view I got. Hunting public land and over a mile in never expected this. I know I would not shoot a spike that far from the vehicle.

    Sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad in February of this year. Although he was not a hunter he did buy me my first shotgun and rifle. He always supported my hunting. I had to figure out this hunting on my own.

    Decline in moose preference point purchases?

    Being my first hunt out west was in 2017 at age 51 and looking at required points to draw a tag. I don't even consider buying pp for Moose. Heck I bought my first elk pp this year in hopes of just drawing a general elk tag in the next 3 years.

    Nice buck! What does a 5 year old buck weight in GA? I got busted by a 5+ year old buck in Arkansas Sunday morning that would go 250 Lbs. 15 yards to my right with ML in hand and never got a shot.
