No way their cost of operation is any where close to increases. I think more demand driven. We booked all our hunts last year at $4,000.00 lets raise it to $5,000.00 and so forth.

In Arkansas they had fawns testing positive at a 30% rate in the hot zone. This area is where the elk were reintroduced many years ago. My thoughts on CWD are the deer will either adapt and over come CWD or they will not. I don't think there is anything humans can do to change the end result...

So any way to know the amount of NR general elk tags prior to the entry dead line next year? How did the number of tags look this year against last year?

I figure I have 3 hunts left to Wyoming elk, deer, and antelope. In the past I have chose to not fill a tag and was fine with that. You can bet on these last three hunts I will not pass on legal animals.

Going to have to pass this year on antelope as I will be in Alaska hunting caribou. Considering a late deer hunt.

I see where this is headed. No chance for the common man to hunt public land. Soon will appear land owner tags the land owner can sell for what the highest bidder is willing to pay.
