Whitetail deer and I am a Leupold fan.

Eight point Whitetail buck in 1990 in Shugualak Mississippi. Shot with a CVA Blazer muzzle loader. I was 33 years old as I was raised in a family that only coon hunted and there were very few deer in our part of the state. I felt like I graduated college!

The 6.5 is virtually what I have (260 REM). I am currently debating a re-barrel to 1-8 twist and keep the 260 caliber, going 7-08 or 308 Win.

Just purchased a new 14’ trailer to pull my Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT. It is a single axle with 205/15 size tires. The trailer came with new but cheap tires. What is the best tire for this application. Some of you boat and camper owners might want to chime in. Thanks in advance.

I shoot 168 grain Barnes out of my Browning A-Bolt. Would hope the same AmmoSeek would be accurate If that is the route I go. Was also thinking maybe 7-08.

I have a Model 7 in Remington 260 that I want to change to a caliber that shoots a heavier bullet. I’m thinking KISS and re-barrel to a 308 Win. I will keep the same stock and barrel taper and length of 20”. Thoughts? Barrel brand? I have a gunsmith that will perform the change.
