If I am correct, I hunted Unit 705 a few years back. Is that near Ekalaka? If so my son and I hunted some private land that Box Elder Creek ran through. Tons of Whitetails but few Mule deer. We both killed decent Whitetail bucks. People in Ekalaka were extremely nice.

I have a Browning HCS in 300 WM that I am happy with but I seem to prefer my Tikka T3 SL in 7RM. Wish i had gone with the Tikka when I purchased my 300 WM. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Browning but the Tikka just seems to fit me better. Both topped with Leopold VX3i in 4.5 x 14’s.

Not very exciting but I need to update my base layers and buy a new pair of Muck Woody Max boots before next season. I’m at the age that if I wanted it, I most likely have it. I have been blessed.

Shot a Coyote yesterday while deer hunting. First one I’ve seen this year on my place.
