New Hunting Trailer / Camper / Toy Hauler build - Follow along!

We had a thread going a couple of years ago with many of us sharing ideas and pictures of our projects. Not sure if it survived, but I''ll search and see if it's still around here. My conversion took some time with trial & error, but really suits my needs well.

    Franchi Affinity 3 versus 3.5"

I'd buy 3 1/2. I have one and love it. I hunt a lot of honkers and 3 1/2" load of T's will do a number on them.

Can You Identify These Trout and What state They were Caught In?

Here's the story behind these Piutes: Right after WWII my family (Dad, Grandfather, Uncles) and some friends started hunting the backcountry in the central Sierras. They used a local packer to take their gear in and return a week later to pack them out. Always went in September hunting deer. We...

    GETTIN OLD.......

After my last session of pt , I suddenly realized that I am going to have a problem shooting offhand. I shoot lefty and my right arm supports the rifle fore end. I tried it and can't hold it steady. I have used a Trigger Stick for years, I use it for walking and it helps with off hand shooting...

    GETTIN OLD.......

I hear you....I played college football at a major big time university (was a linebacker). As a result I have the shoulder replacements, a total knee and an ankle replacement. If I had it to do over, I would have played golf!

    GETTIN OLD.......

I know I've posted before about the aliments we all suffer as we get older, but I couldn't let this just pass with out my comments. Had 2 total shoulder replacements 3 years ago that made me feel 30 years younger. Full range of motion and no pain, just issues with lack of strength from favoring...

I just went thru several hundred pictures I took on our Alaska trip in May/June. I bought a new iPhone X for the rip and took all the pictures with it. Every one of them is too big (too much data) to post here. I never had a problem posting on the old format of the Forum. Looks like now I'll...

    Wyoming Tag

I have hunted the unit (when I can draw it) since 1980 and know it well. It took max points to draw, so as I am 77 now, this will be it for me.

    Coot hunting in nm

My Dad owned a duck hunting club in Imperial Valley in so California and we shot a few coots...(we called them mud hens). Depending on what they are eating, they can be good to awful. The ones we ate that were good were feeding on wheat and had lots of fat on them. Cooked them like ducks. Same...
