I have a 2' x 4' folding table that I use. I set it up in the bed of my truck and use a folding camping chair. I like this method because it gets you above ground level and brush and other things that could be obstructions. I gives you more shooting area possibilities.

I have scouted 80 & 81. I drew an 81 tag in 2016 with 15 points. Shot a nice buck. I think 81 is a better unit, but it takes a lot of points. In 2016 there was only 25 tags and I never saw another hunter. How many points do you have?

A lot of cowboy action shooters use 45-70 for their long range shooting in matches. I used to shoot one, but black powder. 3031 powder is very popular. Your results look great.
