There were some primers at our club's gun show 2 weeks ago, pricey too. I did score on 2 thousand small pistol primers, traded for 2 thousand large pistol primers I had that I didn't need anymore. There seemed to be a lot of powder, but not too many bullets.

If you reload, you can work up some lighter loads with less recoil for her.

My son owns his own trucking business and text me today he picked up 88 MILLION primers from Speer/CCI in Lewiston, Id, going to Minnesota. He picks up there usually twice a month. I told him to save me a million or so....LOL! They are making primers, we just arn't high on the priority list.

If you are willing to hunt more to fill the freezer than bring home horns, then you can actually hunt almost every year. I do apply for does when I know it will be almost impossible to draw the buck or bull tag I want. I also am satisfied with different species. I will settle for a doe antelope...

I have been thinking about it too. I AM 80 and notice that I am not as flexible as I'd like to be. I do lots of stretching and walking. I do have some back issues that will probably need surgery. Guess I'll do a little research and see if it fits for me.

Like I stated in a previous post. In the units I hunt, I have noticed a big population drop, especially in does. The last hunt, 2 years ago, I actually think we saw as many bucks as does and hardly any fawns and yearlings. I will not be applying for a couple of years for sure.
