When I lived in Utah they were crazy about shed hunting. Wyoming had to shut down the western part of the state because Utah folks would chase animals to get there sheds if on winter ranges. They’d use snow mobiles. Maybe I’m old school and I don’t see the big deal in shed hunting. I find...

Yep, I’ve had quite a few memorable hunts to many to list.

Getting a bow is personal preference. Go to your Local Pro shops not big box stores and shoot some. Have a budget and tell them what your looking for. Also buy a good quality release I see people buy a good bow and go cheap on a release. Also don't over poundage yourself.

We have cotton tails in most places and snow shoes in the mountains. We don't have a lot of squirrels unless you go to cities, but there off limits. There are fox squirrels in the mountains but they're pretty small. I heard they taste like pine trees.

I know where 22 is at but have never hunted it. I would call the Pinedale office and talk to the biologist or game warden. Also see if you can get contact info for successful hunters from them. Good luck!

This wolf was killed last Sunday in SE Wyoming. I’m sure it’s one transplanted from CO. In SE WY there treated like yotes and can be shot 24/7 365 no license required.
