The "New" Cabin by the pond

This building was sold as a repo unit so I got it much cheaper and it already had insulation in it. Going to get started finishing the inside this weekend. That machine they use is pretty dang impressive and the guy who set it up was great and I was shocked by how easily he move this building...

The time is almost here again...

I can relate as I too have all but given up on taking people out west. For instance, my dad and my father-in-law complained the entire time I had him in Montana this year. I basically sacrificed my entire hunt to help try and get them their deer and all they did was bitch the entire time...lol

Grizzly Bear issue of Wyoming Wildlife

Unrelated, but I personally took this picture of this "Pet" Siberian brown bear cub that escaped from a local enclosure and reeked havoc with our workers for a few hours and this guy was VERY lucky this little bastard didn't get a hold of him. I couldn't have picked a better moment to hit the go...

Your Favorite Rifle And The Story That Goes With...

If I had to choose a gun it would be my 760 Gamemaster 30-06 all day long. Very accurate with my hand-loads. Shoots 1" groups at 100. Its a one shot and flop kind of gun for the most part. Follow up shots are quick and its very reliable. Doesn't have the best trigger and its a bit "Clanky" but...

    Poachers... What a joke!

"Where did you get those cool hooks?" Said the hunter who waited for 25 years to draw an elk tag. "They cut my hands off for poaching" - Said no-one ever....

    Tripods

I have 2 slik tripods and 2 cheap Vanguard tripods. All of which have flip locks and all of which work fine for my needs. However, the one slik I got years ago is only high enough to use while sitting down and too flimsy to extend all the way out, which I find seriously annoying for most...

    Poaching Rant....

Just like Bonnie and Clyde. They were nothing more than domestic terrorists and were lauded as heroes. Nobody thinks about all of the police they killed in their multi-state tour of terror and robbery. In the end they were nothing compared to a couple guys with BAR's....

    Pellet Gun

Let me see what one of those JSB Jumbo exacts mic out at and I will draw something up in CADD. A CNC would be about the only effective way to mill it but conventional milling may product a good result if the machine would spin the tool fast enough and you can get a bevel tool with the right...

    Pellet Gun

On it. :) It would require an extreme ball end mill tool and you may need to have access to a High speed milling machine. Not sure what the RPM'S would need to be for such a small end mill but it would have to be pretty darn fast. Potentially 10,000 RPM.

    Northwest legal muzzleloader

Same things as CC but my gun is a CVA MR NITRIDE. I certainly got some strange looks from a guy I bumped into while muzzleloader hunting with mine. He didn't say anything but sure was trying to check it out. I didn't want him to seeall (pun intended) what I was using.... Cant speak for Cap...
