I've been a little guilty of being in and out the last while. Some of it for hunting, some of it for work related obligations and well some for just personal stuff. Having baby number 4 to start with this summer and two weeks ago being gone for a full week scouting for deer.

I was a senior in HS, I watched the first tower get hit as I walked out the door on my way to school. The second tower was hit as I walked into first hour and then to top it off we watched them both fall by the time we left for second hour. I am getting goose bumps as I type this. Feels like...

You will have a good hunt, It was dry but there are still good bucks there in the drought years.

I feel that, with this knee/skin infection mess we just got resolved I took this week off and sent Brandon with the llamas by himself and the cameraman. I'm bummed but am making plans to make the most of it ASAP.

I am going to be heading to the gym tomorrow morning for the first time in over a week. Here is hoping it will go well!

I haven't been to the gym in a couple of days. I had planned on working on the cardio pretty hard but on Sunday I had some knee pain starting. Turns out it's a skin infection that that Antibiotics are kicking to the curb as we speak. Pretty weird deal that has/has me a little knervous as knees...

That is rough! The smoke here has been really bad, made for really tough glassing conditions for the archery opener.

Heavier cover and travel corridors. Be prepared to glass and then glass some more. In tight country like that you will need to hunti tight too, you are looing for small movements, ears, tips of antlers, etc. You will have fun, that is my favorite time frame to hunt big bucks.
