First off, glad you had a fun hunt. I am sorry that you weren't able to get to the elk that you wanted to hunt. Yeah, the desert elk aren't as prevalent as across the road. But I have watched them cross the highway.... Thanks for the update!

That is going to be a really capable vehicle! On my archery elk hunt there was guy in an old wrangler, the right kind with round headlights....and he was making VERY quick work of the roads we were hunting. Was a lot fun to watch him tackle things we were moving pretty quick over in the SXS...

The die off from 22/23 did have a regionalized impact for sure on total tag numbers. Many residents chose to sit out of the draws, or some drew and didn't hunt at all. That said, Antelope tend to recover fairly quickly, especially when compared with Mule Deer. What we have inside of Taghub...
