The 3000+ tags is total, only about 100 are high demand tags. You’re correct about residents complaining about NR getting 25%. Many of the public comments were from residents pushing for 90%/10%. CPW recommended 75%/25% as a compromise. And the wolf thing sucks.

Unfortunately It means just want I said at the end, They gave no guidance as to what they might do if all preference points were actually removed. More to follow in June… … until then, we’ll have to hope the New CPW Task Force develops some ration solutions … like, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I really don't know what you mean by that. Regardless, your arguement, "The dude with the points should be able to use em as he sees fit ..." applies to both cases. My points = My decision n how to use them.

The arguement you make for your 2nd point about Point Averaging can just as easily be applied to your 1st point: "Point Banking: The dude with the points should be able to use em as he sees fit ..."

Yeah, Colorado had Point Banking back in 2006, but it was only implemented for 1 year.

I don't have a problem with either ... if you saved the points you should be able to use them however you want.

During the March Commissioner’s Meeting CPW’s staff recommended against both and the Commissioner’s accepted that but ask them to bring back alternative’s to the next meeting … hard to tell what they’ll do with these alternatives.

I called CO Parks & Wildlife and they confirm Twin Peaks is not participating in RFW this year. They dont know why. I called Twin Peaks but no one answered so I left a message. If they call me back I'll let you know.
