Like I stated in a previous post. In the units I hunt, I have noticed a big population drop, especially in does. The last hunt, 2 years ago, I actually think we saw as many bucks as does and hardly any fawns and yearlings. I will not be applying for a couple of years for sure.

I agree 100%. 2nd & 3rd season are an absolute zoo around here. I do hunt those seasons in units that have limited tags.

Yep....one sets up outside the Walmart in Cortez and I buy a bunch too.

For years my Dad fed the jacks we shot to our hounds. They loved them, me not so much. Brush bunnies and cottontails are great eating.

You are correct about the doe tags. They are really cheap, I remember when we could buy them for $5.00 and were allowed 5 tags.

The only problem with Hatch chilies is that they are seasonal. Being right next to New Mexico (50 miles away), we get lots of fresh Hatch's in season.
