My Grandfather was a very interesting man. He was born in Stevensville Montana. His mother (my GGrandmother) was from the Metcalf family. His cousin was Lee Metcalf, a US Senator from Montana. He also served in the US Army and chased Poncho Villa in Mexico. I really learned a lot from him.

We had one in Cortez, but when WalMart put in a super store, it went belly up. We do have a couple of gun shops that are doing ok.

We had a good year in 2019, but it was one out of the last 6 or 7. Lots of deer & elk down here from up high. I have not seen any large loss, but one thing I have seen is more lions. I am sure they are not going hungry!

Somehow we need to band together and either form or join and organization the represents hunters and fisherman and let CPW know without us, the department dies! We are the source of the majority of the funds they receive. We also need to get rid of our Governor (I know he just got reelected)...

When I made the OP, I was only commenting about the state the buck was taken in. No other information eg., county or unit was mentioned that I thought should be available.

It's been a little less than 2 weeks since I got my new knee. I do home excersizes every day and 3 times a week at PT. Quit using the walker and now use a cane. Muscles (especially my thigh) are sore after workouts, but not joint pain. Ice everything down several times a day. Overall my recovery...

My wife and I are going to celebrate or 60th wedding anniversary in 2024. We decided to go back to Alaska, this time in August for fishing and seeing some more of the state. We are going to go to Kodiak for sure to fish silvers and see the bears. Hope to spend at least a month. I know it's over...
