    Tag fees

I think you are right about the changes that might happen. It will be interesting to see what happens.

    Tag fees

No offense taken. Being 82 years old and having 5 replacement joints (2 knees, 2 shoulders and an ankle) and recent back surgery weigh a lot in my decisions about hunting choices. If I knew I could draw a favorite deer unit in Wyoming with a special tag application and I figured I only had a...

    My New Gun Shooting Great

Primers are pretty available around here. Last week at our local Big R store I bought 1000 small pistol primers for $78.00. They had plenty of all sizes.

    Tag fees

I disagree. Sure I am an older hunter who has hunted for 70 years and taken my share of big game. I guess that fact plays with my mind and I just won't pay that much, especially when the regular price tags are available.

    ADG or Lapua Brass

It seems the only real difference is the primers that the brass is sized for. Lapua uses small rifle and ADG uses large rifle primers. Having no experience with either brands of brass, I probably would pick the ADG only because it uses large rifle primers. My belief is that the large rifle...

    Bipod or Shooting Stick

I have been using a Trigger Stick for years. Helps in walking and it is great for a rest for shooting. I am older and have 2 replacement knees and a ankle too and sometimes in rough country a walking stick really helps.

    Tag fees

My hunting group (3 of us) have banked enough points to probably draw deer and antelope tags next year. I have only applied for a special tag (for deer) once and I did not draw. Don't anticipate applying for a special tag in the future.

    Private land for older/Mobility Impaired?

A lot of the western states have private landowner tags and the landowners sell them, no need to go in a draw. JimP is spot on with Garvey Bros. I was born and lived in soCal until I retired in 2000 and moved to SW Colorado. My Dad hunted with me and took his last elk when he was 90. It is...

The 2 spam posts you show are gone. I check this forum several times a day , usually starting around 7:00 am and remove any spam. I am not the only one doing this. I actually see less spam to remove, as they are usually posted at night and probably another moderator is deleting them before I...

    Kids are so Innocent!

The water in the Salton Sea is so salty now that no one boats there any more. I treasure that picture as my son is going to be 58 this month. I too wish I had the Javlyn, but at the time I wanted a bigger boat and sold it. It was fun and sometimes could get a little scary.
