Sounds good Bob, november is possible also but can't go week of Thanksgiving due to work. Definitely want unguided but shore based is fine also. Just want to be sure we'll be able to find deer. Thank you

So now that we've gotten caribou off the list my son and I are considering a deer hunt on kodiak for 2021. Anybody have experience or recommendations for a boat or lodge based hunt? Prices are all over the place from as low as 2k each to as much as 5k. All offering basically the same services...

I've got sitka cloudburst. Picked it up really cheap. But even after my trip to alaska haven't had a need to try it yet.

I use a leica 1600 but they cost a bit. Everyone I know that has a sig kilo loves them and cost is very reasonable in comparison

A lot more scrolling for sure. Can't just get to things of interest quickly. Having to use my reading glasses a bit more as things seem smaller. Mostly I'm just not popping in as much to check things out without a dedicated app to tap that sends me notifications I'll adjust eventually
