    Elk outfitter recommendations

I can't help you with your question, but I would call the outfitter that you have a relationship with and ask them.

The road that it was spotted on is a common shortcut for locals. The person who spotted it and took the picture was a contractor in the area. Here is a picture of roughly where it was spotted. The rumors of where they were released was around Radium Hot Springs at the top of the picture...

    Wolves

It appears that one of the wolves has been spotted and had it's picture taken. It was still north of the Colorado River about 9 miles west of HWY 9 and Green Mountain Reservoir, it was a single wolf. The person who took the picture was driving on the Through Road that runs along the Colorado...

I saw today on Utah Wildlife Board Meeting that if they venture into Utah that the DWR will capture them and return them to Colorado. That is as long as they don't get shot by folks thinking that they are large coyotes as happened to one a couple of years ago down around Beaver I believe.

Funny that you mentioned the soft spot for them. All the years that I hunted with my brother in law for deer in Utah we always found our pet deer that hung around were we were camping. Even if it was a buck we would leave them alone and hunt elsewhere instead of taking the easy route...

Congratulations on a couple of nice looking critters. I have to wait another month for the HAM season to fire up. I was just checking my equipment list and saw that I needed to get my ATV registration done, but I do have the motel reservations.

A number of years ago we had some thieves go into a shut down zinc mine to steal some copper wire. They were found a few days later when they didn't return home and the authorities found their ATV's outside of the mines entrance. The majority of the wiring inside of the mine was still hot...

We all pretty much knew where the Governor and his husband stood from the beginning. Now it is up to the people of Colorado to try and turn this mess around at the ballot box, which I highly doubt will happen. Even where I live the majority of voters agree with allowing wolves into the...

There is a article in a paper today stating that two of the wolves came from a pack in Oregon that had a habit of preying on livestock. Oregon got rid of their problem and gave it to Colorado.

I can understand keeping the release site under their hats. Unfortunately there are crazy radicals in the hunting world just like the rest of it and I can understand them not wanting to turn it into a circus with a bunch of protesters as it might of turned out if they would of released the...
